And why is this date important? Well, this will be my first day at Coding Dojo.
I am changing careers. Being a massage therapist was something that helped me explore who I was as a healer, and I am so very grateful for the experience. Now, I will be starting a new chapter in my life, where I will be focusing on myself first.
This is a completely new experience for me since everything that I have done so far in life was for the betterment of others. Being in the service of mankind is truly a blessing, but it can also leave you feeling depleted. There is also a danger of forgetting to invest in ones of care, which is something that I would do much too often.
My children are now adults and for the first time ever, I can be selfish. I can do what I want for my own happiness and not worry about anyone else's immediate needs. Sounds really good! It also feels really scary, but fear always guards the door to the next level.
So, here I go...
